These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Jarhead Mobile Diesel (“Jarhead Mobile Diesel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to customers (“you,” “your”) in the State of California. By requesting, authorizing, or receiving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Jarhead Mobile Diesel provides mobile diesel repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and related services at customer-designated locations. Services are limited to those reasonably capable of being performed in a mobile environment and do not include services requiring specialized shop equipment unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Estimates and Authorization

  • Written or electronic estimates will be provided when required by California law.

  • No repairs will be performed without customer authorization.

  • Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, or verbally as permitted by law.

  • Additional work not included in the original estimate will require separate authorization.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods will be disclosed at the time of service.

  • Late or unpaid balances may be subject to collection actions permitted by law.

  • Prices do not include applicable taxes, environmental fees, or disposal charges unless stated.

4. Diagnostic Fees

Diagnostic fees cover technician time, travel, inspection, and testing. Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, subject to applicable law and as further detailed in our Refund Policy.

5. Parts and Labor

  • Parts may be new, remanufactured, or rebuilt unless otherwise disclosed.

  • Special-order parts are non-refundable once ordered.

  • Labor charges apply only to work performed.

  • Ownership of replaced parts transfers to Jarhead Mobile Diesel unless otherwise requested at the time of service.

6. Warranties

  • Any warranties on parts or labor will be disclosed at the time of service.

  • Warranty coverage does not apply to failures caused by misuse, neglect, modifications, environmental conditions, or unrelated mechanical issues.

  • Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement, not refunds, unless required by law.

7. Cancellations and Service Calls

  • Cancellations require reasonable advance notice.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a service call or cancellation fee.

  • Fees will be disclosed prior to scheduling.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle and service information;

  • Ensure safe and lawful access to the service location;

  • Disclose known mechanical, electrical, or safety issues;

  • Remove personal belongings from the vehicle prior to service.

Jarhead Mobile Diesel may refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe or inaccessible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law:

  • Jarhead Mobile Diesel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jarhead Mobile Diesel from claims arising from:

  • Inaccurate information provided by you;

  • Unsafe service locations;

  • Unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs.

11. Privacy and Accessibility

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Policy, which are incorporated by reference. We are committed to protecting personal information and providing equal access to services.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes should first be addressed directly with Jarhead Mobile Diesel.

  • If unresolved, disputes may be pursued through small claims court or other lawful remedies.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under California consumer protection laws or Bureau of Automotive Repair regulations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Modifications

Jarhead Mobile Diesel reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of service will govern.
